Another important reason to recycle our trash is to prevent waste's negative impact on the environment and natural resources.

The cool thing is we can recycle most of the things we use daily and make new ones, such as paper, plastic, and glass. However, there are some things we should not throw away because they are hazards. Most of us know throwing away things like motor oil, batteries, and various chemicals is a big no-no.

But did you know it was illegal? Well, it is. There are several things you don't want to get caught throwing away. Depending on where you live, you can be charged with a hefty fine, get a ticket, or even go to jail! We sure don't want that! Some items must be recycled.
